Oh wow, the way you crossed the background brings everything into perspective quite quickly. The addage you typed gives this piece a lot of meaning, and I'm really digging the fire-like textures. You have earned a definite fav. :w00t:

wow... impressive image... poor bird. but the colours are beautiful, they seem to build a contrast to the death because they look so warm. and the text you added fits very well... great work!

very symbolic of jesus and the whole cross thing, i feel sorry for the bird though. very well composed with the outstretched wings and the legs together.

This is really nice. The textures are great, but the the angel/bird in the center is the best part about this. The wings look great and I really like the holes in them. Although, Im not quite sure what it is, I cant really see a face, and you can almost see a beak/birtds head. It looks nice, nice work.
